Polyurethane Tension Screens

This is one of the most widely used screen types, suitable for medium-sized vibrating screens and fixed screens. Our Polyurethane Tension Screens feature pressed edges or clamping grooves on all four sides. Clamps, pressing plates, or wedges on the screen frame press down on these edges, providing higher installation stability than standard tensioned screens. Designed for medium screens with vibration acceleration of 6G to 8G, screening range is 1 mm to 60 mm, and screen sizes from 2 to 8 m². Widely used in mines, sand plants, and coal washing plants.

Made from pure polyurethane (PU) with hardness of 75A to 94A (ASTM D2240), providing both elasticity and rigidity. Abrasion loss ≤36 mm³ (DIN 53516). Temperature range -35 °C to 100 °C. The pressing edges are reinforced, 30% to 50% thicker than the screen center, with a nylon or steel reinforcement layer. Flatness deviation along the pressed edge is under 0.5 mm per meter, ensuring a tight fit with the screen frame. Holes can be square, round, or slotted, sized 1 mm to 60 mm. Open area is 28% to 38%. Each batch passes a 72-hour continuous vibration test, with no loose edges or screen movement.
