Flip Flop Screen Mats

Some materials are extremely difficult to screen: wet, sticky, and full of fines. Our Flip Flop Screen Mats handle them effortlessly. They are used in mining, coal, chemical, energy, and construction industries. A tension-relaxation screen consists of two parts: a flexible screen surface and a rigid frame. The main and auxiliary eccentric shafts drive the screen. The mat stretches and relaxes 800 to 1200 times per minute. For materials with 20% water and over 30% clay, this screen excels. Ideal for fine coal, clay ore, and city sludge. Screening efficiency exceeds 85%, and blockage is reduced by over 70% compared to conventional screens.

We use a special high-elasticity polyurethane (PU) formula with hardness of 65A to 75A (ASTM D2240), the highest elasticity in our product line. Abrasion loss is ≤42 mm³ (DIN 53516). Temperature range is -30 °C to 100 °C. The mat uses a two-layer composite structure: the top layer is the screen surface (5–8 mm thick), and the bottom layer is a reinforced elastic support layer (3–5 mm thick). The layers are welded together with high heat. Holes are rectangular or diamond-shaped, with a minimum size of 0.15 mm. Open area is 30% to 38%. Every batch passes a 5 million-cycle tension-relaxation fatigue test at 16 Hz with 8 mm stretch. No cracks or permanent deformation occur.
